The exhibition Nikos Aliagas Regards Vénitiens is presented by the Fondazione dell’Albero d’Oro at the end of an artist residency held between July and December 2022. The French photographer of Greek origins Nikos Aliagas recounts the daily life of Venice through his black and white shots, stolen walking the streets of Venice in search of its true inhabitants. Aliagas' lens roams the days of Campo San Polo, the heart of the Lagoon city, letting the images tell the stories of those who live and make these places alive, through contrasts, backlighting, movements within shots in which straight and curved lines sometimes merge on a face or at the corner of a calle.
