The title of the exhibition proposed by the Pinault Collection, Luogo e Segni (Place and Signs), takes its name from the homonymous work of the great Carol Rama, exhibited between the works of others and 36 artists, all characterized by the ability to maintain a peculiar relationship with their urban, social, political, historical or intellectual context. The works presented for the first time in Venice by the French Collection, dialogue with the works that have made the history of exhibitions at Punta della Dogana throughout the ten years since its opening in 2009. Among the 17 preview artists appear, among others, names like that of Berenice Abbot, Liz Deschenes and Trisha Donnelly, along with those of Lucas Arruda, Hicham Berrada and Edith Dekyndt, participants in the artist residency program promoted by the Pinault Collection in Lens. The exhibition is accompanied by a rich program of events, performances and meetings open to the public, organized between the locations of Punta della Dogana and Teatrino di Palazzo Grassi.
